The last BIG Horrah!!

Well, after weeks of celebrating the marriage of Brad and Jessie, we were down to one last party. Funds were low and the energy level was waning, but we put together a pretty good North Idaho Party. We opted for the hot dog stand with our friend Jan and a popcorn machine. Lots of chips and fruit. The weather was picture perfect.....no wind and not too hot or cold. two days earlier it had been raining and the temp didn't even reach 60 degrees. We had a lot of fun. People came and stayed and helped eat our food.
This is Jan and her hot dog stand.

It was getting dark and Brad and Jessie finally had time to get something to eat. We had about 15 or 20 people that stayed until 11:00. We put all the candles on one table, sat around it and pretended it was a campfire. It was fun to have Brad and Jessie with us this week. I'm sure they enjoyed the relaxing time. Now it's time for the real world and another semester of school.

Reception in Georgia

This is the little cottage that the reception was held at. It was so cute!! It is a community club house that is used for events. What a perfect place. Alan and I were able to stay at the Caldwell's house during our trip. They are such an awesome family and we really had fun getting to know them.
Brad and Alan really aren't just horsing around. They actually had a purpose for being in the trees. They were hanging lights in this magnolia tree. Of course Alan can't do anything without getting hurt. As he was getting down, he had to jump and he landed wierd, rolled and hit his back on the fence. They didn't tell me this until the next day when Brad spilled the beans. Good thing I wasn't watching. I would have had a heart attack.
Here is the cute couple at the reception. We were up until 1:30 in the morning making flower arrangements. I think I learned enough from Lucy that I may even be able to attempt flowers at Tawni's wedding. We will see.

Family that visited

Here is the back deck of the cottage. It was so pretty with the flowers. The weather was great. Not too humid.

Amy, Jeremy and Tytan were able to come and be with us for the day. It was so cool to think that even in Georgia we would have family close enough to see. What a cute little family. Thanks for taking the time to come see us! It was so fun to be with you! We love you!!!!
This is my cousin Ruth. She lives about an hour away from Marietta. I haven't seen her since I was about 3 or 4 years old. We got back in contact about 10 years ago. She is the only other member of the church on my side of the family. It was so good to see her and meet her husband, Joe. It was great to catch up.

The Cake and Dance

Here is the beautiful cake that Jessie's mom, Lucy, made. The flowers were gorgeous. She is so talented.
Cutting the cake.
They were fairly nice to each other.
Not too much frosting on the face.
There first dance together.

Dinner at the Joseph Smith Building!

After pictures and the wedding we had a nice dinner at the Joseph Smith Building. It was so good to have family and friends there. Here is one of our extended families, The Gerrard Family. They used to live here and now live back in Utah. We were so happy that they came, even though we didn't have much time to chat. We see them every trip we make to Utah anyway. Hayden, Amanda (Zack's girlfriend), Zack, Carly, Scott, (Carly's new fiance), Brad, Marilyn and Hailey.
Riley, Lindsay and Ava drove down from Rexburg and Steve and Marilyn made it in the knick of time for the Wedding. We so appreciate everyone's efforts to be with us!!! Here is the cousin picture, (minus Brent, who was chasing kids). Tawni, Ryan, Tyler, Jessie, Brad, Emy, Meagan, Jenna, Brad, Ava, Lindsay and Riley. What a great family. We felt so lucky that even when we didn't do the wedding close to home that we had so much family there.

Dinner!

Jessie was getting Hangry (Angry cuz she's hungry). She needed some food. We liked the bib! Here is Tawni and Ryan with Ryan's parents, Russ and Kathy. They were so nice to come down to the wedding.
Brent, Meg, Emy, Atlas, Tyler and Coen.
Auntie Elmer was there too. Along with Brad, Jenna and Kelli. It was so great to have them there.

Killing Time during Pictures!

We had some time to kill, so we hung out around the temple. It wasn't too hot in the shade and there was a nice breeze. It sure was fun to be together.

There was this cool little spot at the top of the stairs for pictures. I can't wait to see how they all turn out. Brad's best men! Mike and Tyler with Brad.

The Big Wedding Day!!!!!

This is right before the wedding in the Joseph Smith Building. We went to scope it out and find out which room our dinner would be in later. Tyler, Brad, Mike and Alan. Brad wasn't even nervous.
Here are the cute couple right after getting married.

These doors on the Temple were awesome! Alan, Sandy, Brad, Jessie and Jessie's mom, Lucy.
